Sweet-Tea-with-Fries

My three-year-old has an obsession with McDonald’s. No matter what time of day it is, if you ask her what she wants to eat she’ll say “Donalds”, every single time! My husband said McDonald’s must be doing something right since they naturally attract children! I’ve never met a kid that didn’t like McDonald’s. Never.

And I guess they know what they’re talking about. There’s something about McDonald’s french fries with a large sweet tea! My local McDonald’s has the best sweet tea in town, hands down! Fries with an ice cream cone is also one of my favorites. Both are salty and sweet.

Fries with Ice Cream

So how does McDonald’s make those World Famous perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside fries?

The primary ingredient in McDonald’s Fries is of course, potatoes. Prior to processing, each potato must go through rigorous quality control and safety checks. The potatoes are then cooked in a proprietary canola blend cooking oil that has 0-grams of trans fat per labeled serving.

Did you know, all potatoes are inspected prior to making McDonald’s Fries. Specialized technicians grade the products for size, shape, natural sugars and blemishes to ensure they meet quality standards. There are more than 120 quality and safety checks involved in making a McDonald’s French Fry.

What is your favorite combo? Fries with (fill in the blank).
