We got to celebrate Halloween three times this year! We had a trunk-or-treat at church the day before Halloween.
Our neighborhood trick-or-treating was on Saturday, which turned out to be crap because we had WAY more trick-or-treaters on Halloween night and I had already given out most of my candy.
We gave out almost all the candy we collected (besides a few snickers for me) back to the trick-or-treaters on Halloween.

What awesome setups at those houses! We didn’t get to see anything nearly that fun on our trick-or-treat adventure!
I know! I was impressed too! There were some spooky houses! There’s actually a man in the monster suit in the photo with the smoke!

Trunk or Treat!?!?
Yes! People decorated their car trunks and we had a big thing in the church parking lot with a fire pit and hot cocoa! Some people just gave out candy and others had fun games to play set up in their trunks!

Looks like a great success. (and can I say I was jealous of your weather. We got a ton of rain on Halloween night)
We went trunk or treating too but didn’t decorate our trunk. Maybe next year!

Cute kids and I love the first photo! I’m sorry you had to give your kids’ candy away on the Sat. I’m sure you can buy what they prefer on sale with Halloween over and eat less junk. 🙂

What cuties! Sucks that you had to give out your own candy on halloween. The girls took that well? What champs!
Haha it was actually their idea! Natalie said “we have to share with everyone”. LOL. Plus they got to eat the candy while passing it out so they were happy about it!
