5 Tips for an Egg-cellent Easter Celebration

1. Decorate Your Buffet Table

If possible, have your buffet outside on your back porch! Everyone will be outside hunting eggs anyways, and I would much rather keep my candy-filled children playing outside!

Use cheap glass jars filled with candy for pops of color and old phonebooks under your table linens to give your containers different heights.

2. Bring the Outdoors In

If you plan to keep the party inside, fill the room with fresh flowers! Create a centerpiece with flowers from your own yard or embellish old vases with Easter ribbon to match your spring theme!

3. Have Activities Planned

Besides the obvious egg hunt, every year my sister-in-law plays a fun game of Egg Toss. Basically you pick a partner and toss an egg to another. If the egg does not break, you step apart and the toss is repeated. The contest continues until there’ s only one team left with an unbroken egg.

For younger kiddos, you could print some fun word puzzles or coloring activities! Check out my Printables board on Pinterest for more ideas!

4. Set Up a Photo Booth

Clearly, I’m a fan of photos! And it wouldn’t be a party without a photo booth! You can easily create for a fun photo backdrop with a curtain, tablecloth, streamers, or even a quilt! Don’t forget the silly props!
