Welcome to Project 52! One theme, one photo, once a week. Simple.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m thrilled to be done with my Project 365. Although, it really did force me to use my camera every. single. day.
All week I’ve had that panicky feeling, like I need to pick up my camera and shoot something!
I only used my camera four days out of the past nine. It feels odd.
This photo of city hall seems fitting as my “time” photo (because there’s a clock, duh). Cumming is the city I grew up in. I know, try not to laugh.
My FAVORITE photo from this week is this shot of my girls. It also works with the time theme. I had a rough start to the new year, and this photo reminds me that sometimes you’ve got to drop what you’re doing, be randomly awesome, and enjoy that moment in time.
And lastly, my LEAST favorite photo from this week…. my busted iPhone 6. I almost cried. This is the first time I’ve ever cracked an iPhone screen.
I will be co-hosting this link up with Sarah and Angie each week. Each of us will pick a favorite from the previous link up to share each week.
Follow me on Instagram and feel free to join us using the hashtag #Project52Photos.

I totally snickered at the town name. 😉 Love the shot of your girls. So true. Have to enjoy those moments. It all passes so quickly. Everything else can wait.
I think 52 is a lot more manageable than 365 🙂 I know I never could have kept up with a photo everyday and kudos to you for completing the challenge!
Lol. I totally laughed at the name. Great photos. Totally sucks about your phone. Did you have a protection plan?
Ugh, NO! The hubby has one because he’s bad on phones, but I’m usually so careful. It fell out of my pocket in the bathroom at the Mexican restaurant. Those dang tile floors!
Oh no! Your iPhone! Get yourself a REALLY good protective case. Otterbox and Ballistic are really great brands.
I’ve been planning on getting a LifeProof case! It was on my list of things to do!
I love these challenges. Although I can’t always get a new shot each week, I’ll enJOY looking back through previous posts to see what I can find that will fit. Hope that’s ok?
Cannot believe you captures a 365 challenge. Bet this one will be a piece of cake!
I got a new camera from Santa, and I really need to get started, but I never participate in stuff like this I always start strong and then lose steam!
I love all the pictures, and the one of your girls is so beautiful!
I am joining the 52 Project. I have the button on my blog. I wanted to start a week project for my blog – but I was unable to decide what. When I read your post and your 52 Project – it fits perfectly into my schedule.
This sounds like a great project. I love all your pictures.
Great photos! I especially love the one of your girls. My husband bought me a new Nikon this past summer. We took it to Orlando, and guess what!? Dropped it and broke the darn screen. He was not thrilled putting another $100 into fixing it! I so feel your pain!
What a pretty city hall!!!
Completely eye catching.
Boo on the phone though 🙁
Your city hall is amazing. That pic of the girls is adorable. Thats one for the memory books. I almost swapped out my iPhone 5 for a 6 the other day. I am dragging my feet. I’ve never had a mishap with my phones. The only problem I have had is my 4 had a meltdown. My fault most likely. It was over worked and under paid 😉
I love the picture of the girls! It turned out so well, lots of emotion!
Oh my gosh I think I would cry if I cracked my phone. Yours looks so new! *cringe*
Great adorable photo of your girls! I couldn’t imagine cracking an iPhone, I would cry! My husband cracked a few in the past few years!
What a beautiful shot of your kids. I need to start a project like this
I am sorry about your phone! Cracking a phone is the worst feeling!
This seems like a really cool challenge. I will have to try it out so I can sharpen my skills!
My daughter has cracked her phone screen and it made her very unhappy. Tossing the balls down does sound fun. 🙂
What a fun thing to do! I’m going to bookmark this for when I have a better camera phone, or my camera is up and running. I love the photo of your girls, they’re beautiful.
I don’t know if I could take a pictures 365 days in a row. 52 week challenge seems much more manageable to me. But it sounds like a fun challenge.
I love the photo with the kids…so magical great that you captured that! Blow it up! And sorry about the iphone…thats a pain we iphone lovers hate…screen protector and a case for you maam!
I love the picture of the girls! I love these photo challenges. I need to try one soon!
What a great project for 2015. I really love the ones of your kids. Adorable.
Thank you so much for hosting this! One of my goals this year is to improve on my photography and actually get out more! I started working at a school last year and my poor camera sat a lot. Time to buck up and just get out and do what I love!
