Yay! It’s finally here! The SOOC Saturday one year celebration! I have created a new page for the SOOC Saturday rules so it’s not in every post! You can also grab the SOOC banner there too!
If this is your first time here, SOOC Saturday is a weekly meme where people link up and share their photos Straight Out Of the Camera (SOOC). This is a great way to practice your photography skills. Ideally, as a photographer, your goal is to shoot a picture perfect the first time, not “oops I can fix that in Photoshop”. Editing programs are great for enhancing a photo but shouldn’t be used for fixing photos on a regular basis.
These are a few photos I took with my new zoom lens! I’ve been wanting to get some pictures of the cute critters that always seem to be roaming around the back yard but didn’t have the right lens, until now! These pictures were taken through the dirty windows in my back door so the quality isn’t great in some (especially the bird).
Please share your SOOC shots below!! Please be sure to visit and leave a relevant comment on at least ONE other blog on the linky list.
This preview will disappear when the widget is displayed on your site.

Okay, time for the GIVEAWAY!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve popped my kid in the face with my camera while leaning over to pick her up! I love wearing my camera during events so I can snap a few shots here and there, opposed to running to my camera bag every time I want to take a picture! If only there was a camera strap that would keep my camera strap down at my side or even on my back – out of my way! Well now there is….
The Sun Sniper Pro is the ultimate camera strap for any DSLR camera. The strap actually connects to the bottom of your camera (where you would normally connect your tripod) which also keeps the camera from swaying when you are walking.
The shoulder sling design keeps all the weight of your camera off your neck and prevents it from bouncing on your chest especially if you’re hiking and shooting landscapes and whatnot. The padded strap has a shock absorber and makes it more comfortable, but it also (which my husband pointed out) actually stays in place so you can easily slide your camera up and down without rubbing your shoulder!
This strap is also marvelous for traveling. The strap keeps your camera at your side so you don’t look like a tourist, plus the steel cable within the strap prevents camera theft from strap cutting!
One lucky winner is going to receive the Sun Sniper Compact! {$57 Value}
The Sniper Compact is the smallest strap in the Sniper family, including all of the features of the Sun Sniper Pro in a smaller, lighter strap. It is designed for compact cameras, lightweight camcorders, or binoculars.

I learned the Sun Sniper Pro Leather has the same features as the other straps but with the luxury upgrade to leather!
These straps offer photographers a new generation of quick-draw, ergonomically formed camera straps for superior comfort.
I like that it keeps the camera on the side where it won’t get bumped from the front! And that it’s can be height adjusted… good for my short little self;)
Nice squirrel shots — the last one looks like he’s floating until you look closer and see the fence!
Thank you for the opportunity to win this strap. Hugs!
oops forgot to mention I like the squirrel photos ( I love watching squirrels) and I like the idea of the cross body strap . It will be so much easier on my neck xo
The Sun Sniper Pro features a built in shock absorber, a comfortable, well padded shoulder strap, and a stainless steel ball bearing swivel to hinder camera swaying when you are walking.

The Sniper shoulder sling strap allows for a complete, fluid range of motion that is impossible with conventional straps.
